The doctor has officially announced her approval for Julia to stop sharing glasses with her cat Mupsiah, and to get her own!  And so, here we are, picking them out.  She was thrilled - dancing, singing, skipping...the whole thing.

We pick them up on Friday. Spoiler alert:  They are pink with polka dots.  I expected nothing less.

The Epic Rainy Afternoon Tea Party

It started with an idea.  A tea party among friends.  It evolved into a cookie-baking, frosting-coloring, sprinkle-pouring, popcorn-popping and lemonade-making spectacle. We even made invitations but they were one of many causalities in the "frosting incident".   The girl never lost interest - not even for a second.  

My life is fun.

It ended with exhausted guests, a sugar crash and a dip in the "pool".
