It wasn't until I saw this picture on the computer that I noticed the slobbery spot on her cheek.  Obviously left by someone taking advantage of her state of slumber to steal a gratuitous kiss.

Happy Birthday and Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day in Italy and it is also Julia's Two Month Birthday.  I went get my hair done while baby girl and her daddy celebrated their respective festivities.  While I was gone they propped the camera up on some books and made me this video to demonstrate how much fun they were having together.  Must say I was a bit jealous that I missed all the fun and games, but I believe watching this video 20 times a day will help relieve the pain.

Woman's Day

Last week was Woman's Day in Italy, where men give mimosa flowers to the women in their lives.  Little baby Julia was celebrated and given her fair share of flowers.

My Little French Artist

Aunt Lara sent a package with lots of treats including this fantastic hat and some snippets of fabric.  When I put on the hat, I knew immediately that she needed a specific outfit to do it justice.  So, I took Lara's fabric, made the pants and paired it with an artist-smock blouse.  I think she will wear this all week.  Dirty diapers be damned.
