When the Cat's Away...

 ...the mouse will play.  Mamma doesn't allow Julia to use her sandbox toys in the fountain. Mamma doesn't allow Julia to get soaking wet in the water.  Turns out, Papà does.  Turns out, the park is a lot more fun with Papà.

Our new favorite game is "collector" where we look for pretty things to put in our tray.  While scouring the park for new treasures, we found a little bird that must have fallen from his nest.  While her conversation with the bird is in English, don't be surprised if you understand nary a word.  For those who need an interpreter, she is beseeching the bird to fly back to her mamma in the nest.

Things get a bit wet when a two year old insists on filling up her own cup at the park fountain.

Here she is, waiting for the bus - the picture of perfection.  While just a few minutes prior....

Bless her heart, only her mother knows that she was just trying to finish kissing Tea.

Tummy Slide?

Oh, now it's going too far.  First the swings, the ladder and hanging from the slide bar?  With all those barriers broken, she is now going down the 2 foot slide on her tummy. 

The Farm

Meet Pasqulino.  Judging by the amount of times she brings him up in conversation, Pasqulino is Julia's new best friend.  A little white woolly lamb that ate her food and let her pet him while she looked at us saying "I not scared! I not scared!"  When he went back into his cage, the farmer explained that he finished his milk and wanted to go home.  Julia ran after him yelling, "Come back!  I buy you some nice nice milk!"

Rainy Days

Trapped inside with all the rain.  We took a walk and little Miss Fashion Consultant decided to wear her beach swim hat.

Her outlandish acts of courage know no bounds.  Well, some bounds - she never progressed past that first step.  

Gelato and Cupcakes

Our new obsession is creating gelato and cupcakes from the sand in our park.  She decorates them with leaves, twigs, flowers and berries.

Swings

 Back on the big swings after a long hiatus.  She is terrified of them and I cannot offer an explanation as to why.  I was pushing her about 3 inches back and forth, but one would have thought from the screeches, she was going to the moon.
