This cute little park that edges the original ancient wall is just two blocks from our house. It has a bike path for kids too. Adorable.
*Disclaimer: Her father dressed her for this outing, including the black rubberbands that he used to secure the pant bottoms that he stuffed into her socks. I apologize for any distress this may have caused among her fans.
I think we can all agree that her new fabulous sweater needed some pants worthy of its company. Stole some of the trim she used and now it has been two days in a row with the same outfit. I imagine tomorrow will be no different.
Some people would maintain that it is wrong to purposefully walk behind her - getting her to bend her neck back in order to not break eye contact. I think it is wrong as well. But it doesn't stop me from doing it.

Turns out that three of our parakeet friends from the park have come to roost in the trees in front of our window. Daddy and baby girl like to keep vigil in the hopes of saying hello.
Vaccinations left little girl feeling a bit wary last night and today - but there is no reason to stop smiling about it.

This smile looks a lot like my smile when I put this dress on her. A standing ovation for Karen Merril for this gem. It even has a pair of tiny purple esperaldas - but they are too big for now. The only shoes that stand a chance are those that can only be removed by crowbar.
