Sledding in the Alps

Four days in the alps and she loved every minute of it.  Playing in the snow with her three favorite boys.

Bundled up at a roadside cafe with Daniele, Giovanni and Papà. Going to the Alps! Only two more hours to go...

Christmas Shopping

Last minute Christmas shopping with papà.  As evidenced, she was quite happy to be spending the morning with him.

Rabble Rousing

Julia is back in the piazza causing trouble after days trapped indoors due to incessant down pouring, polar cold fronts and various mamma and baby illnesses.  And this time...she has her bunny gloves on.

The Most Fun Ever

For a girl who adores scribbling on the ground with a piece of chalk - this was eye boggling fun.  We just stumbled across it while doing some errands on Sunday morning.

We ended up running into one of our American friends, Jonah.
They scribbled along side each other, happy as you please.

Il Presepe

The Italian custom to create a family "presepe" or nativity scene has me on pins and needles.  Antique family figurines taunt her with their accessibility.  She was invited to help sprinkle flour to achieve a snowy look and that is where her helpfulness abruptly ends.

Brrrrrrr...

It's so windy.  Halfway to the park, we turned around, ran home and jumped under the covers with our lamb and a stack of books.

Rainy Day

This was not a expedient journey to the grocery store.  She insisted on carrying the umbrella herself but found it too heavy and opted instead for perching it on her shoulder while trying to walk.
