Admit it. It was worth the wait.

I apologize from the bottom of my heart.  Many factors conspired against us to prevent us from posting earlier.  I can't wait to get some videos up so you can see her in action.  If you like big grins and little kisses blown at you, you will be quite pleased indeed.

The Raspberry PJ Collection

Here are some of her smallest kimonos that are ready to go. She has got them from 0 months until she goes off to college.

This is her special evening kimono when she is entertaining guests.

More from the Raspberry PJ Collection

I realized that girlie girl had lots of cute embellished onsies, but no pants to wear them with.  Here is a sampling her mamma made to cover those long gams.

These are for when she is feeling particularly kicky and sassy.  Obviously special occasion wear only.

Can't express how much I love Lara's flower trick.  Probably more than I love Lara herself.

These are for when the ruffled pants above aren't expressing the magnitude of her sass for the day.

When doctor lady told us that our girl has extra long femers, I went home and got to work doing something that will continue to be a lifelong tradition, I am sure.  Found some pants Talise gave us and added some lace to make them longer.

This adorable shirt came from Talise's stash and Leonardo fell in love with it.  It is a super cute Pottery Barn Kids number - but she had no pants to make it a respectable ensemble.  I made her these using
Talise's yo-yo kit that she gave me.  Or that I stole - don't remember.

A few last minute treats

Some of you aren't adequately agitated about the fact that my due date is technically TOMORROW.  (It is after midnight on Friday, so one could make the argument...)

Here are some of the little things I have been doing to prepare for her immanent arrival.

This is the basket I got at my shower and was able to stuff in my suitcase.  I lined it and now it is her blankey caddy.  You know I love caddies of all sorts.

A sampling of her burp cloths.  Mommy and Lara sent some of these delicious fabrics.  I dedicate the first spit-up to both of you.

Burrito stuffed with baby.  Lined with the scraps of minky I found in a hidden box in mom's closet.  Just put her head in the hood, wrap her like a burrito and enjoy.  Yum.

Little portable changing pad that holds her essentials.  I love that she has essentials.

Nice LIttle Nonna

Raspberry's nonna Stella was so horrified when she concluded that little girl didn't have enough sweaters to keep her warm, she stayed up all night making her a gift for the Befana.  If you don't know what the Befana is, ask Noah, he'll tell you.  This thing is seriously adorable.  It is like a little dress and so cute you just want to eat it.

One Seriously Spoiled Bambina

Look at the yummy treat Leonardo's friend Lourdes sent for Raspberry.

 And she didn't stop there.

While it is hard to capture this on film - this is certainly one of the poshest outfits Raspy will ever have the privledge of wearing.  She also sent a blanket from the same material.  And please - a bonnet?  I couldn't love it more.

Vintage Sweaters

Stella saved some newborn sweaters that she had knit for Leonardo when he was but a tiny green-eyed baby boy. She cleaned them up so they look good as new and now little Raspberry will be able to wear the same things her daddy wore when he was born. Adorable.

She added the lace to make it more girly.
